DiamondCorp plc is an emerging diamond producer focused on maximizing shareholder value through the development of high-margin diamond production assets. The company is incorporated in the UK, and operates in the long established diamondiferous regions of South Africa.

DiamondCorp is committed to the empowerment objectives of the Mineral Development Act. Lace is 26 per cent owned by HDP held and controlled companies.

Corporate governance

The Group is committed to a high standard of corporate governance and operates to clear principles and procedures of control appropriate to a business of its size. Whilst there is no requirement for AIM companies to comply with the Combined Code, the Company intends to comply with the main provisions in so far as they are appropriate to smaller companies.

The Lace Project

The Lace Project is located 20km from Kroonstad in the Free State province of South Africa. The project contains an estimated 14 million carats of diamonds in tailings and kimberlite. Additional kimberlites have also been identified on the group’s adjoining properties.
